1. Purchase and Registration:
You purchase Nekinsan QR code stickers (e.g., "Car Safety QR" or "Bike Safety QR" packs) from their website or authorized retailers.
You then register these unique QR codes through the Nekinsan App or their online platform. During registration, you link the QR code to your profile and set up emergency contact numbers, your name, and potentially other relevant details like medical information.
2. Affix the Stickers:
The stickers are placed in visible areas on your vehicle, such as the front and rear windshields/panels, or the dashboard.
3. Scanning the QR Code (by anyone):
In case of an emergency (like an accident) or a situation like wrong parking, any person (bystander, ambulance driver, police, etc.) can scan the Nekinsan QR code using:
The Nekinsan App
Any standard QR code scanner (e.g., Google Lens, Paytm, GPay).
4. How the System Responds to a Scan:
Emergency Assistance (Accident):
The person scanning is prompted to choose between "Emergency" or "Wrong Parking."
If "Emergency" is selected, the scanner can capture photos or videos of the incident site.
This visual evidence, along with the location, date, and time of the scan, is instantly sent to your registered emergency contacts (family, friends) with a siren alert, even if their phones are locked.
The system facilitates masked calls to your emergency contacts, protecting your actual phone number from the person scanning.
The vehicle owner and emergency contacts receive a "call back" button to contact the scanner if needed.
After the call, emergency helpline options (Police, Ambulance, Fire, NHAI, etc.) appear on the scanner's screen for quick access.
Wrong Parking Notification:
If "Wrong Parking" is selected, the person scanning can take a photo/video of your vehicle.
You, as the vehicle owner, receive an instant alert with the location and the photo/video, allowing you to move your vehicle and avoid issues. A siren alert also goes to the vehicle owner's numbers.
Data Privacy and Security:
Nekinsan emphasizes data privacy, using virtual numbers and call masking so your personal phone number is not directly revealed to the person scanning the QR code.
The system logs and stores the history of scans and calls.
SOS Feature:
The Nekinsan app also includes an SOS feature that allows the user (vehicle owner) to send emergency alerts with media and live location to their family members.
IVR Call Option:
For situations where there's no internet or the scanner has a basic keypad phone, each sticker has an emergency helpline number and extension number. By dialing these, a call can still be connected to the vehicle owner and their emergency contacts.
Nekinsan QR codes act as a digital safety net, enabling swift communication and information sharing to enhance road safety and help in critical situations.
