How Nek Insan Smart Wireless Video Doorbell works?

Instead of a camera unit, it utilizes a QR code sticker that you place near your door.

Here's how it works:  

1. Visitor Interaction:

• Scanning the QR Code: When a visitor arrives, they use the Nekinsan app or any standard QR code scanner on their smartphone (like Paytm or Google Pay) to scan the QR code on the sticker.
   
• Initiating a Call:
  • With Internet: If your (the homeowner's) mobile device has an internet connection, scanning the QR code initiates a video call to your phone via the Nekinsan app. You can see the visitor, but your camera remains off unless you choose to turn it on.
     
  • Without Internet: If your phone is offline, the system automatically switches to an audio call. This call is connected through a virtual number to protect your privacy.
     
  • No Smartphone/Internet: For visitors without a smartphone or internet access, the sticker displays a helpline number.
    They can call this number to connect with you via an IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system through a virtual number, keeping your actual contact details private.

2. Homeowner Features (via the Nekinsan App):

• Real-Time Interaction: You can see and speak with visitors in real-time through video or audio calls, regardless of your location.
   
• Scanning History: The app logs all interactions, including:
  • A photo of the visitor (captured when they scan the QR code).
  • The date and time of the interaction.  
  • The visitor's location (using GPS).
  • A "call back" button for easy follow-up.
     
• Privacy Protection: Your personal contact details (phone number) are kept private through the use of virtual numbers and call masking technology.  
   
• Google Location Mapping: The system integrates with Google Maps, allowing visitors to see your location details when they scan the sticker.  
   
• Emergency Helpline: The system has an SOS emergency calling feature for users to quickly reach emergency services if needed.  
   
• One-Click Callback: You can easily return missed calls from visitors via the call history in the app.
   
• Refer & Earn: The app includes a referral program to earn rewards.
