Phone Theft

The platform offers two primary methods for mobile security:

1. Phone Theft Protection App Features

The Nek Insan App includes active background protection features that trigger automatically when suspicious activity is detected:

• Automated Thief Photo Capture: If someone enters an incorrect PIN/password or attempts to reboot or turn off the phone, the camera automatically snaps a photo of the person.

• Live Location Sharing: The app immediately captures and shares real-time GPS location coordinates with designated emergency family contacts.

• SIM Removal & Reboot Alerts: If the SIM card is ejected or an unauthorized reboot is attempted, the app activates security protocols and sends instant alerts to trusted numbers.

• High-Priority Siren Alerts: Emergency contacts receive immediate alert notifications (even if their phones are set to silent mode).

2. Mobile Safety QR Sticker

In addition to app-level tracking, Nek Insan produces physical Mobile Safety QR stickers that can be attached to the back of a phone or case:

• Good Samaritan Contact: If an honest person or police officer finds your phone, they can scan the QR code using any standard camera/QR scanner.

• Call Masking & Privacy: The finder can contact you or your emergency contacts without seeing your actual phone number, using virtual number masking for privacy.

• Scan Notifications: When scanned, the system sends you the exact GPS location, date, and time of the scan, along with a photo or video taken by the scanner.

Steps to Set Up Phone Protection

1. Install the App: Download the Nek Insan app from the Google Play Store.

2. Enable Theft Protection: Turn on the Phone Theft Protection toggle in the app settings.

3. Add Emergency Contacts: Register at least one trusted family contact who will receive alerts and live location updates.

4. (Optional) Attach QR Tag: Place a Nek Insan QR sticker on your device and register its unique ID inside the app.
